Who the hell is Mike Magann?

Hi! I’m Mike Magann, and I’m the luckiest guy in the world. I’m the father of two amazing kids, June and Oliver, and the husband of Alex — quite possibly the world’s greatest wife.

I’ve worn a lot of hats and seen a lot of things. I’m a graduate of Bridgewater State College, though I did briefly hit pause on school to tour the world with friends before returning to finish what I started. After graduating, I embarked on a professional journey that included several meaningful stops in the world of education. Each of those experiences became part of the toolbox I bring with me today.

Now that my kids are officially school-aged, I’m ready for you—yes, you—to hire me.

When I’m not spending time with my family, my favorite place to be is at a show. Not live music. A show. If you don’t know the difference, I’ll gladly explain it.

I also enjoy playing poker, following Boston sports teams, and playing video games when I have the time. More importantly, I genuinely love the work I’m applying for. I could spend all day consuming media, studying media, and creating media — translating what I see into something that connects with people.

The last thing to know about me is that I will find a way. There are no absolutes with me. There are too many resources out there not to get the job done.
